I’m a first generation college graduate. I started my college career at Arizona State University but then realized that life’s too short to live in the desert forever. So I transfered to Brigham Young University Hawaii. I graduated in April 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

I worked as an Internal Auditor in the financial industry for 8 years. I had been wanting to change my career for sometime, but wasn’t sure what to pivot into. After my department downsized in 2021, I took this as a sign from the universe that the right moment had come to make the jump. I stumbled upon UX/UI Design on a LinkedIn Learning course and haven’t looked back since!

A few of my hobbies include working out, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, hiking, reading, Latin dancing, trying new foods, going to music festivals (Coachella & Tropicalia) and playing video games.
