The purpose of this project was to create a newsletter sign up CTA that would appear as a pop-up displayed when the user access this website. The main focus of this challenge was how well the microcopy was written.

I first started this project by reading UX articles relating to sign-up modals and UX writing. I then researched examples of sign-up modals on dribbble.com for inspiration.

Sketched Wireframes

After getting enough inspiration, I sketched a wireframe of the sign-up modal.

From the sketched wireframe, I created various high fidelity mockups of the sign-up modal.

I received feedback for each version and I ultimately decided to go with version 2. Feedback that I received for this version was to make the image of the chilly bigger, the sign-up box smaller, and use a color from the chilly for the CTA button.

I also created a mobile version of the sign-up modal.
